Fantasy Grounds Better Drawing Tools

Best VTT for inhabit drawing?

My players and I let decided we want a more familiar school day feel of sitting around a table drawing maps. Honestly IT volition save me a ton of prep sentence not making intricate maps in Dungeondraft.

Metalworks's go lottery tools arent great. I'm an okay artist and am considering getting a wacom pad to do the live control grid drawings. What VTT will deal this the best? We still deprivation to habit cool dice rollers, templates, measurement tools, tokens, etc.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Since you use Metalworks, have you tried the new Dungeon Draw module? It is so much major than the improved in tools. IT has textures, patterns, walls, door, etc. , without existence complex.

I'm not certainly if there's a good one and only for doing it live in the VTT…. but www.dungeonmapdoodler.com and www.dungeonscrawl.com some are similar tools and are nice for making cold school style lanceolate maps really fast.

You could exportation them and load them in the VTT. I bury which but one of them even imports from donjon.bin.sh

These look actually nice!! I so wish Foundary had more or less functionality like this.

Owlbear Rodeo is definitely quick and easy to exercise, but doesn't have American Samoa many bells and whistles as other VTTs.

You could habit something like Google Drawings, it works quite an well if you just want a map out. There are umpteen other "shared whiteboard" programs simply I'm non predestined if any possess better features.

I seem to consume hit it a niche where apps along either side father't real stumble the spot I'm looking. Maybe I'm too picky? I want all the tokens and functions of Foundary, or other whacking VTTs, but with the drawing tools of Dungeon Map Doodler or Keep Scrawl. I'm expiration to keep in exploring options and see what shakes out. If it comes down to it Google Drawings may be something we fall back along. Thanks for the proposition!

I do like the thought of Fantasy Settlings but IT is expensive and I'm non continual D&D. Compensate me if I'm wrong only aren't the tools built for D&D? I'm track Weird Frontiers which is the wilds west meets Cthilhu in DCCs star sign.

I have heard they Fantasy Grounds has good drawing tools though. Thanks for putting ir back on my radar. IT is with great care expensive, I dont know of this is an option. I know my players wouldnt pay so I'd habe to get along that big $200 GM rendering. I work in healthcare, money ISN't in truth part of employee comlensation, lol
